Set within a charming home in Austin’s Rosedale neighborhood, this kitchen remodel was a study in balance—modernizing the space while respecting its existing footprint. The client came to us with a clear and confident vision: a kitchen that was equal parts functional and beautiful, made for both everyday cooking and frequent entertaining.

Drawing inspiration from Athena Calderone’s tonal green kitchen, we layered soft, desaturated hues with warm textures to create a space that feels grounded yet elevated. Storage was maximized through clever cabinetry solutions, while the long island now serves as the heart of the home—perfect for cocktails, conversation, and shared meals with family and friends.

The result is a space that’s not only host-ready, but also deeply personal—an effortless blend of beauty, utility, and comfort.
