I grew up in Houston, Texas, where my love for interiors began early—cutting pages out of design magazines and making mood boards for my parents' house long before I knew what a career in design could look like. That early curiosity eventually became a calling.

I moved to Austin to attend the University of Texas, where I studied Advertising and minored in Business. After a few years in marketing, I found myself craving a more creative, tangible kind of work. I went back to school to study interior design and never looked back.

After graduating, I returned to Austin and began freelancing—creating CAD drawings and renderings while assisting on residential projects. I later joined SLIC Design, where I spent four years immersed in the design world, contributing to projects that helped establish the firm as one of Austin’s top studios, with recognition in Austin Home and Architectural Digest.

Travel is a constant source of inspiration for me—experiencing different cultures, materials, and design histories continually informs my work. I have a deep appreciation for art and antiques, especially pieces that carry a sense of history or tell a story.

Studio SB was born from a desire to create spaces that are not only beautiful, but deeply livable. As a mother of two and part of a big, lively family, I understand the importance of designing homes that are functional, thoughtful, and grounded in everyday life.

Above all, I love connecting with people. I truly enjoy building lasting relationships with my clients and believe that collaboration, conversation, and a bit of humor are essential parts of the process.
